OffWeGo is a team of entrepreneurs dedicated to keeping students traveling internationally safe by providing an engaging and relevant mobile app that supports location awareness. The routine check-ins are then reported back to university administrators to ensure student safety.
The Problem
OffWeGo set out to help universities keep their study abroad students safe
OffWeGo noticed that there was a gap between universities and students while students were traveling abroad. Students were routinely forgetting to report their whereabouts which had the potential to lead to unsafe situations.
The Project

OffWeGo is a mobile and web app that allows gives students travel recommendations, safety tips, and connections to other students studying abroad, while helping admins track student's last self-reported location
