Strategic Education Inc (SEI) is a holding company for popular online universities like Sophia Learning, Capella University, and Strayer University.

The Problem

SEI wanted to help employers promote education benefits to employees.

Companies that provide tuition benefits to their students needed a way to track requests and dispersement. On the other hand, students who were interested in education benefits needed an easy way to see what their options are.

We worked with SEI to build Workforce Edge. For employers, Workforce Edge can support Tuition Assistance or Tuition Reimbursement request covered by company benefits policies. The workflow, visibility and reporting capabilities make it easy for employers to track benefit use for any accredited university employees choose to attend. For employees, Workforce Edge provides an easy, intuitive online platform for navigating tuition benefits, best-available pricing from in-network partners, and the ability to request tuition benefits for any accredited university of the employees choosing.
